ORGANIZATIONAL POST

Just so everyone knows I will be letting signups go through Sunday night, there are several people interested but haven't signed up yet, plus I have to work all day Sunday anyway.  I am off work on Monday so you will get your partners hopefully by late morning Monday.

Right now we are at 28 people and 48 boxes, with 2 first time swappers.  We also have participants from 7 different countries.  That got me to thinking, I have a tendency to partner people from the same country to keep shipping costs low, but some of you might want to ship internationally. So let me know if you would PREFER to ship to a different country, not a guarantee that you will get to but I will try.

Several of you have shown interest in doing more than 2 boxes, we may take someone up on that to even things out once we start assigning partners.

Can't wait to get started, have my matchbooks all ready to go.

I think this is going to be a lot of fun, and i will ship out of country since this is a small item i think it would be not so bad to do!

Pay no attention to me dancing with my girl, we have every intention of being failures in this world.

Yah it's nearly time for partners!!! I'd be quite keen to ship to someone in a different country - don't mind the extra postage:)

I would love to do more than 2 boxes! In the last round we did 3, but i have a lot of tiny stuff haha! I would like to send to another country, but I'd prefer it to be a country in Europe, sending to the USA really makes a big difference, even with something this small.

I just signed up  Grin

Anyone have ideas for what to do with all the matches (other than pyromania)?
I did a 3-drawer chest of these for a once you pop swap, then used some of the matches as 'arrows' on my Q is for Quiver alphabet ATC swap.

in the big ass book of crafts there's a cross made out of them! wooden match crafts were the cool thing for a while, so definitely make something kitschy with them!

mine are all in a ziplock bag. i've been adding to it for years, but i haven't gotten around to doing anything with them, cause i'm lazy. Cheesy i wish you could buy empty matchboxes!

I'm a candle freak and have them all over, haven't had to buy a lighter in years.  lol

I was trying to come up with something and have just been to lazy to put that much effort into thinking.  lol

I was at the post office yesterday mailing my chunky housed and asked some mailing questions.

I used 9x6 inch bubble mailers and they were all pretty rigid. The guy who was working with me said that they're considered "parcels" and do qualify to use delivery confirmations.
