Ok, so I'm creating a cherry blossom bonsai tree for a very very important project. I'm using 120 pink and clear swarovski crystals for the flowers and I have the design ready to go, but I'm having a hard time deciding on the color of wire to use. Below are sample branches in the colors available to me. I've been staring at them so long that I really just don't know anymore. I need help!

Please please please tell me which color you like best for this project! Feel free to tell me why you do/don't like any of them, but don't feel pressured to. Also, I'm sorry that this isn't the best picture. Tongue

Thanks so much!

PS- if there's a category that would be better for this, feel free to move it. Tongue

I think the gold is too intense, the brown is too dark, the silver gets kind of lost, so I'd go with the copper.  Smiley

EDIT:After looking at it a second time, the brown would look lovely too...

Oh wow, that is hard.  I love how delicate the silver makes it look (but themidge is right, it does kind of get lost), and the gold is kind of off (feels clashy to me, though I am not a fan of gold, so yea), I think for me it's a toss up between the copper and the brown (I'm leaning more toward the brown, I like the contrast of the dark).
Now I am really curious about this project you are working on!

I like all of the colors EXCEPT the gold one.  It looks too flashy.  So by process of elimination I can help. Smiley

To me there's no contest, it's definitely the copper one.

Either silver or brown, depending on what you're creating.

I really think i like the lighter copper look. It makes the pink, pop.  With the silver  a close second.

the darker wire is pretty but in the picture the pink seems darker with it, Maybe that one looks better in person?

I like the dark one the best.  It makes it seem more, realistic, I guess?  The copper is a close second.  The silver looks washed out to me, and the gold is my least favorite of them all.

So far, when I calculate everyone's opinions (from here, on dA, and in person), it's pretty much a complete tie between the brown and copper. Maybe I'll flip a coin?

Thanks so much to all of you that have helped so far!!! Smiley

Cherry blossom trees in my mind are dark brown, and brown and pink are two colors that go well together.  I say brown, hands down.  The silver is pretty, but I don't think cherry blossom.  The gold is, to me, a definate no, and I don't think I like copper either.  (Copper is kinda orange to me.  Orange and pink?  Nah).

BTW, all the trees look great!  You'll post a final, right?
