"Home Movies" is a cartoon on Adult Swim about a group of kids who make films and have a seriously dysfunctional soccer coach.  It's brilliant and hilarious!  It's been a while since I made something for myself and this is a quote I've been wanting to stitch for a long time now.  It's from "Brendan Has Rabies" and is a quote from Jason:

I drew Jason myself on graph paper and was really pleased with how he turned out (he always has his hands on top of his head).

Thanks for looking!

This is class.
One of those shows that we don't really get over here in the UK, along with Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Robot Chicken, so I don't know it as well as I should.  Undecided
But you did a great job!

Thanks everyone for the comments!  My husband is now wanting me to do a Coach McGuirk piece.  The problem is choosing from the hundreds of great Coach McGuirk quotes!

I LOVE HOME MOVIES!  I just got the 10th anniversary box set for Christmas.  Your work is AWESOME!

My favorite McGuirk quote is from the episode "Four's Company" where McGuirk is trying to get Lynch, Erik and Paula to go out to dinner with him.

coach - "Are you looking at your calendar?"
Erik- "Yes, I'm in the living room, looking at my calendar...."
coach- "I'm in my car, holding binoculars.  You're in the kitchen, holding a blue mug."

I don't know how that could be done, other than to maybe have them on opposite sides and have like orange text for coach and like blue for Erik or something.  Hm.... now I'm thinking!  Smiley

Haha...that's a great one!  My husband wants me to stitch McGuirk's poem from the double date he went on with Mr. Lynch:

"New York Times?  New York Times?  You think you're better than us?  Us?  Us!  U.S.!  U.S.A.!  The end."

OMG! This is my favorite show EVER. I even have a little gnome tattooed on me as a tribute to the show. I have been thinking about doing a home movies cross stitch too.

Anyway, that is super awesome.
