I have finally completed my first Knitted FO of 2009! It's the Boutique's Knit project that is on the cover of the book. Even though I live in San Diego, the ocean breeze will allow me some actual use. This is a great on-the-go project. I'll be looking to add another brain protector from her book to my collection, soo.

Thanks! It's the cover photo that got me wanting this book for so long in the first place. I'm glad I made it finally!

Jodinan - I hate picking up stitches, too. I think this brain protector is worth giving it a go, though. Can't wait to see yours!

Sweet brain protector!  I eat this book.  I want to make 3 of the four hats, the ruffled mittens (CUTE) and the handwarmers at the very least.  I'm careful about what books I buy.  The book must have a high percentage of projects I would want to make and this fits the bill.

I just picked up this book from the library, and the young girls working at the clerk desk were raving about how cute this brain protector was. It's not my usual style, but I think I have to cave and make it!
