So last night we went to a Prohibition party, where everyone had to dress up like it was the 1920s. I made this feather hair pin for the occasion. I bought a bag of guinea hen feathers at Michael's as well as pre-made spray of feathers and beads. I made a little base out of interfaced fabric, and sewed the feathers down one at a time. Then finished it off with a vintage button I found at a thrift store.

the finished getup, ready to go!

thanks for looking!

Great job! You guys look fantastic!

I love the hair piece, is it on a barette?

Looks fantastic!   Cool

I wish I had had something similar at my senior prom - I dressed in a swing dress, my date in a zuit suit!

It is on a barrette, I just slid one into some of the stitches.

Adore<3 This is to cute, love the speckled feathers. Me thinks I need a new fascinator...I use wig clips to attach mine, cuz my hair was so short for a while, and those clips mean business. Great job!

Lets all go to Jack Taylor's to celebrate!
