My recent addiction is painting old, forgotten, unloved shoes and turning them into something fabulous.  At a recent shoe sale at the Sally Ann, I picked up these battered little puppies.



You can see a bit of the wear and tear on the heel. 



Can't you hear them begging not to be ugly anymore?

Well I did and here's how what I did to them.







If you ignore my pathetic attempt at zebra stripes on the silvery part, I think they look pretty damn awesome.  I'm sure that this translates to tacky in the eyes of the rest of the world but I'm okay with that.   Grin

Yes, yes, yes!!!  I couldn't wait to scroll down and see what you did with these, because they had some serious potential, yet you imagined to blow me away with the results.  These are so sweet-can never go wrong with an animal print (or two).
