This is a homage to my favorite executive transvestite, Eddie Izzard. It was my first try with fair isle so it came out a wee bit lumpy; plus I made the tea cozy before I had a teapot and the only one I could find that I liked and was under $80.00 was huge. Oh well, I still like it. The pictures don't really show, but the words are made out of black sparkly yarn.

And I decoupaged a picture of the wonderful man himself onto the teapot!

All hail Eddie!  Wonderful cozy and quite a cute tea pot.  Will the decopage come off when the pot gets hot?

I love it!!  I was in such an Eddie mood last night, but the only DVD I have home is Definite Article, and I wanted to watch Dress to Kill!

We only had three bits of cake and we didn't expect such a rush!

I am worried that the decoupaged picture will come off the teapot when it gets hot, but that's ok because it really looks terrible in person. It's all wrinkled since it was a flat picture placed on a rounded surface.
I had tried to find special transfer paper for putting images onto ceramic, but I didn't really know what I was looking for or where to find it.

It was a gift for my best friend and will probably be her "for show" teapot.
