My best friend just had a baby in November, and I haven't even been able to see her yet!  Sad (I'm in TX, she's in WI)

Anyhow, I've been making the baby (her name is Naveah) outfits when I can find the time and shipping them up there.  I finally get to go for a visit, so I wanted to make something to bring along.  I found this cute Hello Kitty material, so decided to make her a little bath robe out of it.  I wanted the lining to be a little bit "clashy" but still compliment the colors of the fabric.  I also made a little matching hat with her name on the front.   Grin  Here goes:

Matching Hat

Comments, criticism welcome.   Wink

I finally made it up to MN and WI for a visit at the end of February, and these are a few pictures of her actually IN the robe.   Smiley  She is the happiest baby I've ever seen... I'm just in love with her.   Grin

Happy baby after bath time:

Enjoying her squishy new robe:

Beautiful!  This is a great outfit!  I'm sure she will love it!  I think the lining of the robe looks great together.

Adorable!
I've a question, though. In your post, you spelled the baby's name "Neveah", but on the hat it's "Naveah".
I'm hoping that's a typo not on the hat. :/

It is quite cute, though. I love the fabric! Cheesy

It's adorable!  I was going to ask about the name too.  Usually it's  heaven spelled backward but, you know people are always changing things up.  Hope you get to see her soon.

Thank you!  I wasn't sure if it would go or not, but I think I like it.   Wink

Thank you.   Grin  The baby is still too little to care what she has on.. but I'm sure my friend will like it.  I'll have to post pics of the baby actually IN the robe and hat once I get up there.  I'm super excited to see her.    Grin

Thanks for catching that.  Wink She was initially going to spell it Neveah, but wanted it different from everyone else's so went with Naveah.  I corrected the spelling in the description.  Oops!   Shocked  haha

...and thank you!  Smiley

Thanks!   Cheesy  Yeah... she was just trying to change up the spelling.   Wink

...and yes!  I'm going up MN and WI to see some family and the baby too.  I'm a few months overdue, but she's smiling and giggling now so it'll be even better.  Wink
