I had this random lady approach me at a craft fair and tell me how rubbing all kinds of essential oils all over her body neat got rid of her mental health problems. Yeah.....

Power of the mind my friend, power of the mind. (and it sounds like her mind was aaaaaall kinds of powerful...  Grin)

When she was good, she was very very good - but when she was bad she was fabulous.

You really can't argue with that! What was I gonna say, "you still seem nuts to me?" I just really urged her to be careful, I mean, what if she was putting clove or cinnamon oil near her hoo-haw? She might burn it off!

I could make a snide comment about her not being able to contribute to the gene pool, but I'll save it. Oh wait...  Grin

People believe strange things about EOs. I've had people tell me that lavender EO makes them feel intoxicated (not relaxed, actually intoxicated) and that using patchoulli EO soap will make your hair thicker and darker.  Roll Eyes

That's possibly the funniest thing I've read all day [giggle] Clove oil is evil evil stuff. I once spent about a week liberally swabbing my gums with it (they were in vast quantities of pain) and it was FOUL. It did help, though!

Clove is great for dental pain. I had to undergo major dental surgery when I was 17 and the dentist made these packs with clove EO and other stuff that made it feel sooooo much better. Smiley
