i made this recently for a friend's baby shower.  i know this has been done a gamillion times... but this is my version:

Sure it's been done before, but all are different!! and ya know what??? I'd never ever get sick of looking at peoples creations, especially really pretty star blankets like this one! Grin

Great blanket!

I've been wanting to make a thin striped one for a while...how many rounds are each of your thin stripes? 1? 2? I keep trying thin stripes and either ending up too thick, or looking like a zipper when I change colours... :/

Anyway, yours looks great!

each stripe is one round... i used a 6.5 hook which i believe is bigger than the pattern calls for, so maybe that helps them make a little thicker?
