lady4feet:

From the USPS site: All Package Services parcels mailed with Delivery Confirmation must measure at least 3/4" at the thickest point, or be in a rigid box.

There's more information about Delivery Confirmation here: http://www.usps.com/send/waystosendmail/extraservices/deliveryconfirmationservice.htm
Hope it helps!  Smiley

[edit] Actually, after reading that page again I'm even more confused. But it seems the way to be sure is to have it in a rigid envelope. I think?  Roll Eyes
Sorry I couldn't be more help!

Thanks mlheran I thought it was almost an inch. Hmm maybe I'll make some rigid envelopes just ot make sure I don't get told "no" when I go to the post office.

I'm even more confused as we don't have that sort of service here in the UK. Huh

We have airsure (cost of postage plus 4.50) or signed for (cost of postage plus 3.50) so its going to cost me somewhere between 55 - 66 to send eleven envelopes. Shocked

And I'm not even sure they will do so as with mine are less than 40g and don't qualify for packet status. I remember from the last two swaps that we did not use DCs but had to resend if they went missing. For the price above, I could resend 4 times to each person!  Undecided

On a brighter note, I am all cut and ready to go. Everyone is getting 40 except for mlheran who is getting 60 with repeats! Grin

I've been way big on rainbows lately--rainbow buntings, rainbow marker rolls, rainbow sewn matching games--so you can expect to get some rainbow colors coming your way!

Apologies to the gothsies.

Wow that's a lot! (Well realy I have no idea how much a pound is to american dollars but it sounds like it). Yeah we just took pics of the envelopes in the last round right? I can't remember.

Since your an international sender shouldn't you just have to show to postage receipt? I'd check with elvissatx I know if we're in the US and sending international we just have to show the receipt.

PlumCrafty, for international shipping, all you have to do is save your receipt!

Just send everything regular, and your receipt becomes your proof of sending.

Woohoo, those envelopes are going in the mail tomorrow! I am going to make the teller give me a receipt or he'll be sorry! Cool

And if no one gets them within three weeks, let me know and I will resend (I have plenty of squares so I don't more), or indeed if you like something and want more of them... let me know! Cheesy

Well, I didn't get mine in the mail this week like I'd planned.  First I got sick, and then I ended up substitute teaching all day Thursday and Friday.

I avoid my nearly incompetent post office like the plague on the weekends (seriously, they have lines 30 people long, 2 stations open and 5 clerks chatting away behind the counter not working), so I'll go on Monday.

Hooray!!!
