I finally made an actual piece of clothing. The only other thing I've tried was a tube top made from BookSox, those stretchy patterned book cover thingamadoodles; not a success. I think I used MacCall's patter 4595, but don't quote me on the exact pattern. I modified it a bit, since i wanted different fabric for the top of the front and the back (the plaid). I was very worried about the sleeves and button[hole]s, but they came out surprisingly well, yay! Enough chat, picture already!

The green trim is super wide bias tape. The weird wavyness is due to sewing ribbon as if it was bias tape onto jersey cotton, which is verrrrry stretchy. Bad idea, but it looks fine when I'm swooshing around. Tongue And it is ohh so comfy....

I'm a big advocate for comfy stuff, and that sounds super comfortable! Wink Nice first project.
