It's my cheese!

I've been really stressed out lately because of my job.  I've found myself clenching my hands often as a result.  So, I decided to do what I could to manage the stress (read: crochet) and also to make something to hopefully help.  I am still learning about embroidery and more often than not, end up just kind of adding facial features randomly and hoping for the correct shape to appear.

Behold!  A squishy!  I made this one first:

Then, because my husband is silly and thought the fuzzy eared one looked kind of like a bunny, he asked me to make him a vorpal squishy.  With gnarly, gnashing fangs!  (Yay, Monty Python!)

Hubby says Vorpal Squishy likes bacon and thus needs a piece of crocheted bacon...I guess that's next.  Although I think some crocheted spam might be more appropriate.   Grin

I have issues with embroidery too, I just quite get things to look right and usually end up ruining things!
These are so cute. I guess they could also be useful to throw at your work mates if they annoy you too.

Hmmmm...now that is a great idea.  I'd love to throw these at my co-workers.  Of course the "old dudes" who run the place have no sense of humor.  I wonder if getting fired for throwing toys at people is considered getting fired for cause, or if I'd still get unemployment?   Wink

Thanks for the feedback!

I am really happy with the way they came out, and they are really easy to make.  I'll share the pattern if anyone is interested.   Cheesy
