hey this is soo awesome!! i have been looking into cardboard furniture but everything looked soo hard to do!! yours looks easy ( a lot of work) but easier that what I've seen.

THIS TOTALLY ROCKS!!!

and props on being a single mom and getting rid of bad news husband!

That is absolutely incredible! I thought it was made out of vinyl at first, and I still can't believe it's cardboard. I'm going to have to try this.

I did something rather similar. I live in KY and we just had a freak ice storm. It was apparently all over national news. Anywho, I was on vacation that week (lucky me) and was lucky enough to have power but couldn't go anywhere (as the whole city was a mess). So I had a bunch of boxes from moving in that had been sitting around the apartment and I decided the office needed a bookshelf. I hot glued a several boxes together and voila bookshelf. I should post pics. However, my finished product doesn't look quite as nifty. I appreciate the tip on the kraft paper. I think my bookshelf will look better now. Thanks! Grin

I have some more cardboard!!! I guess I will be able to make the drawer this week end... as I went to pick some paint and some more glue sticks to be able to finish it .... pics of WIP later tonight !!

And get prepared to be surprised by the colors I chose for it hahahahahaha
