I want you to know, you've created a monster!  No, not your fabulous table, but me!   Grin    After I saw the fabulous job you did (BEFORE the drawer, now it's way beyond words!!!)  I scoured the internet for ideas, and collected a ton of pictures of furniture made from cardboard and other materials that could be made with cardboard.

Along with your post, and this post
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=291160.0 I decided to redecorate my whole place.  My furniture is old.. I mean oooold... not antique, vintage or retro old, just 80s old and worn out.  I decided to redo everything!  It's going to take me a long time, I'm sure, and I plan on doing it piece by piece... but it's all your fault!   Cheesy

The impression I get when I see this type of furniture is an Alice in Wonderland type feel, but I'd normally never think of using more than one piece as an accent piece.  Back in the 80s, we had a furniture manufacturing plant for very high quality solid oak and cherry furniture, so this is a MASSIVE change for me.

I went out tonight and got the materials to start, the sandpaper, craft paper, glue and knife.  I couldn't find the gummed paper tape at the store I shopped, but I didn't have time to go to another store.  I swear they roll up the sidewalks here at 7 on weekends, and even after 12 years, I still forget!  Undecided  Annnnyway.. I can't wait to start, and I hope my stuff turns out HALF as good as yours!

Thank you so much for sharing the links and your fabulous pictures!
