After playing around with a drop spindle I got from MullersLaneFarm in Shop the Swap, I got the fever and have been collecting fiber like a mad woman.   Cheesy  I asked for a spinning wheel for my birthday and got an Ashford traditional -- it's beautiful!  These are my very first plied yarns.

This was plied with itself.  I got the fiber from SewMamaLady.  She called the roving "Watermelon."

This was also plied with itself.  I got the fiber from lapoli in the STS appreciation swap.  I can't find the label name of this beautifully dyed fiber.  It was a lovely yellow and green -- their combination resulted in an occasional blue look which I love!  I have a lot to learn and there are lots of "problems" in these yarns, but I sure had fun making them!

I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Almost done with library school! That sums things up for now.
