i went rummaging through our art room (spare bedroom FILLED with artsy stuff) & found tiny hinges. not the most decorative, i must admit...but they're still cute as crap.

this one has a charm with the definition of "friend" in the middle with bells on the left.
(i'm planning on changing the chain)

this is the same necklace with detail shown in one picture.
i used a lure attatchment, a turtle & anchor charm.
the chain resembles that of rope that could be used on a boat.
(ocean theme much)

this one is my favorite. it has a coin in the middle (hooray glare), a gem my mom gave me that i'm pretty sure her mom had, along with a key from a belt i found at salvation army.

Hehehe. I made a big bead necklace with half a hinge as the centre piece once. I really like using hardware in jewelery for some reason, so I totally appreciate these. Rock on!

wow!!ive tried to make neclaces and charms and stuff before but they were just using beads these are brilliant its inspiring!!!! Cheesy
