I haven't posted in a while but I'm still busy as a bee sewing!  Here's Nyla's Valentine outfit.  I was originally going to use the corduroy for another outfit, but I thought, "Hey, it's got hearts on it PLUS it can be worn more times without it looking too holiday specific.

It's a simple peasant top with a sash and circle skirt.  I made a coordinating heart pin from the fabric to add flair.  I used bias tape for the hem with contasting thread which was a simple but nice effect.

And for something new, funky and fun for the hair, my new Jazzi Pom bows. I used to love the Fraggles and  the Red Fraggle girl with the wild pom pigtails inspired these.

My munchkin loved her outfit!

Those pompom hairbows are so cute!  She looks so cute with them.  I loved Fraggle Rock when I was a kid, too.  Great job on "visualizing" that design. Smiley  The outfit is very cute on your girl, too.

She always models so well for you, too.  What do you bribe her with??  I'm lucky if I get one useable shot before she's over me and ready to play.  I try to catch her in a good mood, too!

Thanks everyone for the compliments!  Nyla just happens to be a natural born ham for the camera!  She loves to model and comes up with her own poses.  I do not direct her at all!  Sometimes she'll just ask out of the blue "Mama...is this a good pose"?  and will strike one for approval!  LOL
