Thanks RondaS!  This is my first bigger swap, so I was a little nervous at first. But I realized by adding a bracelet to earrings, embroidery 2 tea towels instead of one, making a matching small bag to go with a purse, the ways get to 7 points doesn't really add that much time or money.  Besides, we're all Christian ladies here, it's really about having fun and sharing with each other!  So even if you're a little worried, come join us.  It'll be too fun to miss!

I finally got feedback on my last swap so I can join in now.  I'm excited.  I've come up with enough ideas that I should be able to easily tailor them to my partner.  Yay!

Good point there KC Monkey!!!  This will be my first bigger point swap as well...but I am really not that worried.  I have done several 5 point swaps before and it isn't that much more.

nikimac:  glad you are able to join us!!

I'm a little concerned.... do all of the items have to be christian themed or is this more so we can all fellowship together and enjoy each others company along with a couple of christian themed crafts? I don't do embroidery or papercrafts or some of the types of crafts that are easier to put words/etc. on.

I looked on your profile and saw the crafts you like to do.  They are all perfect crafts for making something Christian themed.  I think the point is to make something that speaks of our faith in a crafty way.  Think of all the imagery in the Bible instead of chapter/verse.  I bet you can do a lot of things with your talents.

That's a great idea! Sheep, Fish, The Nativity are pretty obvious, but then there's the birds & flowers (don't worry about food & clothes), Lion & Lamb. I would think the Proverbs would be good for crafting inspiration as well.

I've heard it both ways.

I'm looking to swap some knit &/or crocheted crafts for handmade CP/HP soap.

I tried making an idea last night.  It didn't quite pan out, but hopefully I'll perfect it by the time I get a partner!

What a great swap idea. I've never done a big swap either. If sendouts are in April I should be good.
