I suggested in the final comment box that the scope was a little narrow. I browse here everyday and try to see everything, and I post some work here, but a lot more of it ends up posted on Deviantart or in Livejournal groups. I spend a lot of time browsing blogs and DA or Flickr for crafty inspiration, so those are important DIY communities too.

Painless and easy survey.  I am glad I took the time to participate in such a interesting survey.  I am glad someone is taking the time to further research this topic.

I live somewhat near the campus of CMU, so if there's an article in our local paper about it, I'd be happy to share a link.  Smiley

You would think with college educations, they would think to edit and proofread.

I took the survey and will pass the word around to my friends as well. Smiley

When an artist who makes mirrors, tables & bowls decorated with images, trinkets, tile fragments & often hidden words in the designs was asked what her artwork meant to her she said: "Life smashes things to bits and you can put it back together to make something beautiful with the pieces."

I took it!
I agree it is exciting that the movement is getting so much mainstream attention.

I took it as well and felt there were plenty of opportunities to add whatever thoughts one might want to share. I hope we get to see the results, too, so I'm bookmarking this, just in case. Thank you for the link, Leah!
