So i work next door to a starbucks and they were throwing this x mas display away so i took it homes and took it apart to find the base was perfect for earrings so voila
still trying to figure out what to do with the yarn balls though

Oh that is really neato!  I would say save the yarn balls for xmas and make some ornaments, if not ur style you can swap them or give them as gifts.
