What are little girls made of?
Sugar and spice, and everything nice,
That's what little girls are made of.

I made these for my newest niece and its so simple I don't know if I should even post it.  But it is really cheap and easy so perhaps it is a good idea for someone who is strapped for cash but wants to do something nice for a teeny new person in their life.  All I did was grab three 1$ candles that came in jars, a can of pink spray paint and a package of printable address label stickers.  Although you don't have to use stickers, you could use a marker or paint.

I used vanilla for the "sugar," cinnamon for the spice, and fresh linen for the everything nice.

Aww, that is so sweet and thoughtful.  Even better that you made it yourself and thought about what each one meant.  They look really simple and unfussy, which makes them more effective I think; sometimes baby stuff is too 'sickly sweet'.

These are lovely, I'm sure they will be really appreciated.

Thanks for sharing, it is a really good idea.

This is super cute! I wonder what scents could be used for snakes, snails and puppy dog tails?  Undecided

I wondered about that too! Cheesy

Thank you for the wonderful feedback everyone!  As far as I can tell my sister-in-law hasn't liked the things I've made for my niece so after I finish the name book I've started for her first birthday I'll probably be buying stuff, which isn't nearly as fun.  Sad

Aw, poor you - your sister in law obviously does not realise how lucky she is (sorry to be so rude). I think these are very thoughtful, and even if you don't like the gift someone has made for you, you should still appreciate the thought, time, effort and not to mention love that person has put into making it especially for you.

Will get off my soapbox now.  Just thought I would say again how lovely these are.
