SamJ,
i'm feeling the same way. Your goodies have been sat on the window ledge of my room for 4 days were I keep considering sending then change my mind!
My latest decission is to add something else I wasn't feeling confident enough to make before so I'll try to post probably tomorrow.

Alwaysinspired she is every bit as lovely as I expected coming from you. That hair was a great find! I think the clam is so cute!

Embarrassed  i feel like im being more than slightly outshined  Embarrassed

everyone (i know its only been three posts so far Cheesy) just seems to have sent amazing packages Im starting to want to redo some things ......... I think I'm gonna have to not come on this board until ive sent Cheesy

Never ever judge your own work based on someone else. It's not fair to you. Your work it completely and totally original to you. Remember many of us have made so many poppets we have trouble keeping track of who we've sent them to! The one I've made for this swap is my 12th or 13th I honestly can't remember.
The thing is did you make it for your partner? Do you think they will like it? Then that is all that matters. Don't worry I'm sure your work is better than you think! We are all our own worst critics!

OMG!!!! I received!! I must wait to post the awesome poppety goodness as my GD has my camera for the weekend..
The box arrived today and GS came running into the house, as excited as on Xmas morn. I opened the box and found a beautiful letter/story line. I slowly pulled back the pale peach covering and discovered a beautiful creature, just in the early bloom of maturity, clad in lacy lingerie. Her tan skin is so soft and begs for her to be held. Her long pastel multicolored hair is in pigtails with a love lock braid in the front.I turned her over and discovered she also has purple wings. As I turned her back over, her button eyes slowly opened and she said, "I am Amelinda." and she smiled. I have never heard this name before so I did a quick search here
http://lostfairyca.tripod.com/fairynames/
and found it means the loved and beautiful.Amelinda brought with her everything she owns which included five, yes five dresses ,a fur-trimmed long coat, a flowered walking staff, a mushroom hideaway which held 2 belts,3 pairs of shoes to match her outfits and a pair of earrings. And if that wasn't enough, at the bottom of the box where some fabric pieces and a book on trolls for me. I am beyond speechless and so happy with everything. Thank you KStaron!!

Gorgeous packages so far!!!

I'm kinda struggling with the clothing, and accessories and such.  I'm trying my best but I hope they'll all fit and look good.

It'll be Saturday before Grindhouse and I have pics to share with everyone.  I got really sick this weekend (had to spend most of the day in bed, and not playing with my little 6month old niece who came over  Cry ,) and to boot, my partners got her shifts switched this week so she's on afternoon shifts.  What that means is that when I'm comming home from work at 3:30pm, she's heading off to work and when she's finished at 11pm, I'm heading off to bed (I HATE getting up at 5:50am!!!)

Anyways the cold meds are making me rant, off to bed.
Later!
