I found the pattern over here:
http://www.burdastyle.com/howtos/show/1652#

Well, mine's a first attempt and it looks a little different, but I just wanted to try whether it works at all. And after I had it with me yesterday evening, I've got to say, no, it's not my favorite form of a wallet and when I find the time I will alter the shape to something much closer to a square. (I'll not alter this one, but the pattern and will make a new one Wink )
My zipper is a little wonky, I even forgot to change the foot into a zipper foot, oh well.

Lol yesterday I was so tired that at one point where I was supposed to turn the fabric in the sewing machine to I could sew around the corner I actually lifted and turned around the sewing machine - took only one sec before I realised what I was doing, but I had a good laugh and thought I should be more awake when trying again. Wink

Pics for you, enjoy!

Thank you! And go for it! It's really easy. Smiley
Fabric is from IKEA, called "Elsa" I think.
Just when you do it with fabric instead of Vinyl like in the tutorial just add as much interfacing as you can. Wink I ironed some on one side of the envelope part and it didn't turn out stiff enough too keep shape when opened.

I love the fabric combo!  I just cut all my pieces out to make this wallet last night.  After seeing yours I can't wait to get started on mine!

Ok, love the wallet! Am in the process of making one for maself, and i have one potentially stupid question, if you would be so kind.

On the tute you linked to, it says you sew around the little window for the zipper and THEN turn the fabric right side...i don't really understand that. how do you sew a square and then turn it right side?
