Hi.

Proof of lack of a Valentine = I sewed 5 pouchy-zippie things this weekend and cleaned out my refrigerator (sorry, no pics of my clean fridge).  Anyway...thought something bright and sparkly might cheer me up (it didn't, but there's always chocolate and wine!)

Thanks for looking...comments and critiques are welcomed.

Cheers!

You can put the kittens in the oven; but that don't make 'em biscuits.

Cool! Sparkly! I have some sequin fabric that I got but the ladies at the cutting table warned me of all the stuff you can't do with the fabric so I kinda just folded it up and stuck it in a drawer. One of these days I'll fish it out for something!

I really like these!

I'm normally not really a sequins kinda girl, but I really dig these! I also adore the orange pom pom one. Cute!

Hi.  I cut the fabric to be 9"L x 6"H.  After stitching it all up, the finished product is about 8"L x 5 1/2"H give or take a bit on each one.  I'm not big on marking any seam allowances and mostly just eyeball it as I run it through the machine.  I have a stash 9" zippers (end to end) so I can't really go much bigger than the 8" for the zipper opening.  Thanks!

I love them.  How did you make them?  I am making wet bags and since they are just like this but lined with different material, I was wondering what you did - step by step.  Thanks Smiley
