I am not sure how the pictures are going to work, either, but I think I am going to take a picture of each scarf after I have added a block.
As for mine, I have the stitch and yarn picked out, so now I just have to do it!

Yay!!!  I got my ferris wheel all graphed out for my section of my scarf.  I can't wait to get home from work tonight to cast on and start double knitting it. Cheesy

Knitting goal for 2011: knit 500,000 stitches.  24,078/500,000 knit.  I think I'm going to need more yarn...

Ferris wheel sounds cool!  Shocked

Sure you can take a pic of your block. I figure we each take a pic before we send and post it to the gallery so people can see the progress. OR we could just wait until everyone receives and they post pictures of the completed objects like a big surprise. Which do ya'als prefer?

It could be a question on the sheet.  I would love to see the progress on my scarf, but others may want a surprise.  I am flexible either way with whatever the group decides.  I personally would still love to see a picture of the first block everyone is doing for themselves.

Shocked My eyes are going cross from being on the computer so long! Everyone should have

1. A PM from me with the address of the person downstream of you, the person you will always be mailing to.

2. An email from me with everyone's information, the circle and the tentative date schedule and the form to print out and send with your scarf.

If you don't have any of these or you have someone's address you shouldn't  Tongue please let me know! Thanks ya'al.  Cheesy

...

Alright, everyone, snap a pic of when you finish (and each time you finish a block) and post it to the gallery. First one to finish, let me know and I'll create a gallery. Cheesy Yay, I'm getting excited now that all the extremely difficult stuff is finished!

One of the most fun parts of this swap so far is reading everyone's questionnaire.  Clearly, I am the most mentally insane of the group. Wink

mochaxlight, you are lucky I have pink because I hate pink.  I got a bunch from aunts.  Now I am not forbidding pink from my scarf for this swap because it fits in with the bright colorful color scheme.

ummm....um.... Roll Eyes  I hope there isn't a problem with my section of my scarf being just a wee longer than 5 inches.  I am about 2 to 2 1/2 inches in and I think it might end up being over 10 inches long.  Roll Eyes  Yep.  But since it is the one I am keeping, I hope it is ok.  I promise to behave with everyone else's scarf.  I mean, think of how fabulous the ferris wheel will be when done. Cheesy

This is only the beginning.  Yay!!!!
