So. This is my Valentines Day present for ma boy this year-- I was really worried I had outdone myself last year (his favorite game is Portal, and I made him a Companion Cube Cake).

But anyhow, I saw all the cute little amigurumis over at http://geekcentralstation.blogspot.com/ which helpfully came with a pattern Smiley And thought I would make one for him.

One of the neat things about my boyfriend is his storytelling. He is a fantastic writer and storyteller, and no matter what he runs into he always leaves a trace of this behind. So, in WoW, his main character is a little gnome female, a warrior, named Pips. He is on a PvP server and has a brilliant story and background for her, and despite the fact that I make fun of him all the time for roleplaying a gnome female, i thought shed be fun to make Smiley

So i looked him up in the WoW armory and got all the armor stuff... and made one!

Pips with the other present for him: The new WoW expansion Smiley

RUN! BIG SCARY MONSTER! (aka my cat Osiris)

She's cute.  I hope he appreciates her more than the expansion (which i'm sure he wanted)

he probably will, actually. He has been trying madly to figure out why i asked what her hair was like Smiley He loves the stuff I make him- and he collects action figures, so she'll probably go on the shelf with them!

love it. My hubby plays a gnome female too. I bet he would have gotten a kick out of that.

That is friggen awesome! I plan on making a pair of these for myself and my man eventually of our mains. Though they will be of the Troll fashion. Wink Very cute job on the gnome though, it came out great!

Out of curiosity, did you make the armor with clay?

oh yeah, I did. Its that.... fimo sculpy whatever stuff that Ive used like once in my life. Just molded it, threw it in the oven and painted- with fabric paint, oddly, because thats what i had haha. Her cloak is a piece of grey felt painted with... well, fabric paint.

And he loved it! For all those wanting to know his reaction. He was actually pretty stunned at it. He thought i was gonna draw her. Tongue
