I'm baaaaack. In my defence, I was searching for the elusive tortilla warmer stitched covers, but alas, I was on a commercial junket and didn't find one.
Bajillion ideas though!

Thanks for sharing that link, smacckk.  That really is a great idea! Definitely puts my ziplock-baggie system to shame.

WOOHOO! I made one of those embroidery travel organizers today!

Oooh, what's that? Is it another journal cover?

No way! This isn't a boring old journal cover (no offense to people who like journal covers - oh wait, that's me!  Grin) .. this is an EMBROIDERY TRAVEL ORGANIZER!!!

[flap closed]

[flap open]

and a close-up of the pockets

There's a loop for the hoop which closes with a snap .. Pockets for a small pair of scissors, a pencil, a seam ripper and scraps of floss .. A piece of (insert name of fabric here - I admit that I do not know the name of this fabric so stop laughing!) for needles and pins .. And last but not least two loops for embroidery floss! It'll only work with the plastic bobbins though because the cardboard ones can't fit  Sad Now I must search the craft store for more plastic bobbins - these were given to me by southernflower in the DIY Kit Swap!

So ... waddya think? Should I give it it's own thread?  Cheesy

Thanks!!  Cheesy There are still a few things I have to fix but for a first try .. I'm pretty proud of it!

If I have some time I'll make one for you too! Shouldn't be all that expensive to send seeing as it can fit into an envelope and all Grin

tis loverly and well executed and thoughtful and can't wait to get one! but I don't need the thingys for putting the bobbins in - I will send you all I have, as I don't use them, LOL!

now you see why I wanted her for a partner! she does test drives on things, shows them to you, and then makes them better!

so thoughtful  Grin

Wow smacckk thats fantastic! I can't believe how quick you whipped that thing up! You did a fantastic job on it and now I really want to make one for myself!! Oh just thought of something... is there a bigger pocket on it to keep a small WIP in??

I went through flickr today and found some patterns that I wanted to use! With gold ol' microsoft paint and my idea in my head I was able to take apart 2 different patterns and make it into one really good one!! I am so excited to get started now!!

Oh and RondaS every time I go looking for something I am instantly drawn to chocolate themes... must stay away for this swap Grin
