Awhile back I ran across a lady with a ziplock bag full of yellow 4 inch fabric squares (I would have prefered 4.5 because I love having seam allowance alotment but for the price, I was not picky).  I bought them thinking I would use the sometime...

Anyways, here is what I have. (The stars have how many of each.  All except fabric A have 8 squares, A has 15)

I also have a few yards of random yellows from my stash.

What pattern would you make with these?

I am just wanting a lap quilt, but if more fabric is needed for a great design I can totally buy more (I love buying fabric  Grin).  I am thinking of incoportaing whites into this as well (maybe sashing, border, blocks?)

Please help!

A stacked/chinese coins quilt might look nice - with the yellow as the coins and white sashing? Would look bright and summery!

Not sure about a pattern (everything I make is random) ... but I would suggest picking up another yellow with a bit of bright green in the pattern; not much green, just a touch of brightness.  Or a bright green with a touch of yellow, and use it sparingly.  I think it would really make the yellows pop.  Can't wait to see what you do with it, I love yellow, so cheerful!

Since those pieces are already in squares, I would go with something like this:

I love the colors! I would also go with the stacked coins design, maybe adding one or two pale pink fabrics.

Thanks for the ideas!  I wanted to share that I decided to take the advice of most Craftsters and go with a Coin Stack quilt!  Here are the cuts I have made.  I have enough for a lap quilt so as soon as I can get to Joann's and get some white/cream for the sashing.

Hey everyone!  I wanted to let you know that I got started on my Yellow Coin Quilt!  I have 18 different prints.  Here is the first strip.  I think I will double them, so that they will be 36 blocks long instead of 18.  I am really pleased!  Thank you for all the help!  Grin
