Thanks everyone. I know I shouldn't take it personally or negatively. I have to work on being more confident in my own stuff. You've all made me feel better. Thank you Smiley

I have a Verizon enV, the original not the enV2 that is out now, and it has a 2MP camera, takes WONDERFUL pics for what it is Smiley  I took it as my only camera when my girl and I went to a Medieval Faire a couple years ago as I did not want a camera AND my phone in my purse weighing me down...I'm not sorry I did either, really great shots!

Yeah, sorry VeniceIsSinking... I was thinking about messaging everyone back to let you all know you were accepted, but it's so time-consuming and ...yeah, I've got nothing.  Anyway, you're definitely in and I actually received your questionnaire two times, so you're more accepted than everyone else... Wink

Yeah I did send it twice because my internet was nuts. I wanted to be extra sure.
I actually just crafted something tree-themed!

I'll take anyone as a partner as long as they promise to post! I haven't had a partner yet that posted pics of what I have made. I know how olive feels. It's nerve wracking enough to make for a stranger and then to not see them post is a big let down.

That is annoying.  I had a case recently where my partner decided to only post part of what I made.  She didn't post pics of the largest, and what I thought was best, thing.  It made me wonder if she didn't like it or maybe didn't understand how much work into it.

IMHO it seems to me that the posting of pics is something one agrees to when signing up, so if they don't post, they shouldn't get good feedback.

There are a lot of reasons that people don't post pictures.

Sometimes they don't own a camera, in which case they should tell you ahead of time.  Of course, sometimes they don't. (Irritating, I know)

Sometimes they get an item, and the kid or the dog drags it off and they are too embarrassed to tell you.

Sometimes they don't know what they've got.  When I don't do a certain craft, I don't know what something is until it is pointed out to me. That's why I always include a card, explaining what things are.

Sometimes they just don't like it, and don't want to say so.

And sometimes they flake.  This has got to be the worst.

I had a partner once who asked me to post pics, because she was going to be out of town.  I posted pics and she came right back with a comment about how much she liked what I sent.  Never did understand that one. Huh

I hope your next partner is better.

I posted some pictures. I just wish that if people weren't totally sure they wouldn't sign up. I mean, I'm sorry, but it's not fair to other craftsters. I can understand all the points pinokeeo brought up. I never thought of it that way. I think it's just important to take pictures of your own stuff too. Thats probably what I will do, just in case.  Cool
