Heidi, come visit me and we'll go to the shop here.  They do gorgeous work.  Now, that doesn't solve your money problem, but I'll split your ticket cost with you... Wink

I love seeing pict8ures of peoples tattoos- I have 3, one on either side of my left wrist and one lower back. I love text tattoos, the ones on my wrist are 'ambition and love' in hebrew on the outside and 'what if?' on the inside. Next one Im planning is a memorial one- 'The end' in Japanese with 4 stars, 1 for each person I know who died last year (was a really hard year on me).

I find tattoos very therapeutic, I feel its important to have very meaningful tattoos. The eyes on my lower back arent something I would choose now but they mean so much to me that it doesnt matter.

yeah, have 4 tats myself....upperback, lowerback, right thigh, and left big toe up on to my foot.....and all though the one on my foot is the smallest......IT WAS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE MOST PAINFUL......that toe thing right by the toenail...wowie zowie.....and to think I even got it redone... feet dont really hold the ink very well..

on a crafting note.... all of my stuff is ready to go......spent the last 4 evenings doing the last few touches on my super large item.... it just came out of the dryer.....and Im really happy with the final product....I wanna wait to take pictures till tomorrow or friday, so that I can do them outside... i think it will look the best.....and there are a few people who want to see it now that it is done, who have been watching throughout the process... so I will mail this weekend......

hippiejo... love the colors, and it works well under the cross
jenicat..... great sun and moon...

Wow, did I not respond to hippiejo's tattoo?   Shocked

I totally thought I had.  Whoops...

I love it!  The colors rock and it looks really really nice.  I like how it goes around to the other side of your arm, too.  Smiley

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone!  I have many others but the sun/moon is by far the one with the most color.  I love colorful tattoos, but you have to have a nice artist for it because otherwise the color fades too quickly.

Aaaannnyway, I ____ ______ for a large for hippiejo today!  Can't wait to get started on it...

Checking in:

Daughter's first birthday party craziness is done, just finished her name book, sent off another swap package, and I can now finally devote all of my free time to this swap!  I wish there was more than one week left!  I have been planning everything out, and now I get to craft.  I even have most of my supplies.  Baby asleep, here we go!

It must be a sign. Wink It feels like it's taking longer for me to send than it did for me to craft!
