I was at the dollar tree yesterday and stumbled across a cute little dolphin placemat. I thought it would make a really cute bag....






It's a little wonky, but it's only the second thing i've ever made. The inside fabric was in the remnants bin at walmart. I like it, and since it was a placemat, I didn't need to get interfacing because it's pretty sturdy as is.




here's the placemat after ripping it apart with the seam ripper.

thanks so much for the comments! i kept forgetting to reply. i was shocked when i went to the dollar tree and that placemat was there. i like dolphins and my sister and i have passes to sea world so it seemed appropriate.
