Two weeks ago, my boyfriend and I saw My Bloody Valentine: 3D (or as he called it, "My Awesome Bloody Awesome Valentine: AwesomeD"). And I couldn't figure out what to do for valentine's day soo....  Smiley
The card is a play off of what Megan gave to the sheriff--I wanted that store bought look (crazy, right?) so I bought a card from the dollar store and added lace I had randomly. I also added a metal snap..thing to keep it closed.

Now the fun part... In case you didn't know, the killer in the movie likes to split people open with a pick-axe, take their hearts, put them in those chocolate heart boxes and send them to people (like the sheriff). Heart made from that wonderful marshmallow fondant tut on here. "Blood" is the best fake blood ever--Betty Crocker food coloring gel, unadultered (worked a lot better than my chocolate and strawberry syrup combination).
It was my first time buying one of these hearts. I felt stereotypical Tongue

Wrapped that bit in red dollar store cellophane, and I'm giving it to him with some "coupons" and 150 ways and places to kiss that we haven't done yet (ex. under a bridge, on a rooftop, in a hot air balloon, in outer space...)

Sorry for all the text Tongue What do you think?

The 150 places we haven't kissed thing is an AMAZING Idea!!! As was the whole thing btw... My boyfriend and i went and saw the movie a few weeks ago because we'd rather watch gross killer movies then lovey dovey stuff and it was AMAZING... if we hadn't seen the last showing of the night we'd have seen it again that night... we're big dorks...

really just wanted to say amazing job, the heart looks amazing and it was an awesome idea!!!

That heart is awesome  Shocked I'd love to do this (my boy friend loves horror movies).
Also can you send a link for the heart? (i can't find it anywhere)

I was slightly squeamish, because the preview picture made me think it was maxie pad themed. Must have been something about the way it was folded and your referring to it as a bloody valentine.

I was relieved when I clicked on the thread and saw your very awesome horror themed valentine. Good Work! Smiley
