Idle Hands

Here's the second completed project I've had in a long time.  It's a hat and scarf set that will go to charity.  After hearing of the winter clothes drive at work for a local area school district, I've decided it's time to put older yarns in my stash to good use.  (I live in the Chicago suburbs and we got very cold this winter, as low as -20*F)

The hat and scarf are a basic DC, Bernat Softee Chunky in Grey Ragg, nothing fancy here.  When I started this one I was looking for a small project to take along on long car trips.

The first completed project in about a year was my Mom's hat and scarf made from LB Homespun.  I finished it with only about an hour to spare before giving it to her for Christmas.  Not enough time to get the camera out.

What would you get if you crossed a goat and a sheep?
An animal that eats tin cans and gives back steel wool.
