After three boys I am now expecting a daughter this summer so I finally get to sew the little dresses I've been hoping to! The dress here I made from a tutorial for a Peasant style top, and the bloomers Are from New Look pattern 6718.

THis one is my absolute Fave!! The fabric was from a friend, and I knew it had to be a dress once I saw it!

And this is the finished jumper for my neice.

Thanks for looking!

And this sweater I made from some Cheniell (sp?) yarn given to me by a friend, it was too thick to knit, and I had to use a much larger hook than the pattern called far so I just made the pieces the same dimensions as the pieces called for. http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/80860AD.html?noImages=
it's super thick and warm, so it should be great for winter!

Love, love, love the outfits!  The fabrics are fantastic and your tiny sweater looks so cozy and soft.  Congrats on the upcoming very special Pink event!

Good work on the dresses!  I have the same fabric from the 1st dress, but I'm too scared to cut into it, I love it soooo much!  Although my Hobby Lobby still has some, so I guess if I messed up....?

That little sweater is just too cute!  It looks so nice and fuzzy.

Awww those are so cute! Aren't you so glad you have a girl now?  Girls are so much fun to make dresses and accessorize for.  I had no idea it was this fun until I finally got a daughter.  Little girls are made of sugar and spice, with a dash of sass..  Congrats!
