Yay - glad you like it!  The bias tape was funny - I meant to buy double fold & I bought single by accident - doh!   Cheesy

I still haven't started my second package so in the interest of time I think I'll crochet one bag and sew another. I need to improve my sewing skills anyways since Tigarlilly has shamed me!

Just kidding, but really I have the stuff I'm just too lazy to try. It seems when I'm nearing the end of a project my machine goes on the fritz and I don't know why! That is sooooo frustrating.
But I've successfully sewn a tissue cover that actually stands up to my high standards so I will tackle a bag next :]

My wonderful bags donniesgirl sent me.  First a silky one with a zipper top.

I love the fabric used on these two bags and both can hook onto those bag holders at the grocery store.

Now I just have to remember to take them with me to the store.

So glad you like them.  The silky one was actually made out of 2 pillow cases.   Cheesy

My partner received back on the 14th so I thought I would post what I sent. She likes pink, black & skulls.

I did the seams french style so it could be reversable

I sent a crochet bag from one of my patterns with a short handle for her daughter who likes pink.

I also sent a mesh produce bag but didn't take pics

awesome bags, everyone!
i really like the one with the red piping [i'm a little biased -- it has my three favorite colors! Cheesy]

and the black one is really cool!

i'm in a little craft group, and one of the ladies would like to do some charitable crafting. one of her ideas, was to make shopping bags, and hand them out at grocery stores -- this gallery is very inspiring!

I received from i_am_138 today!! She made a wonderful bag from a recycled sweater! I looove the fabric. Cheesy It's definitely my style. It probably was weird looking as a sweater but it makes an amazing bag!! Cheesy Here are the pictures!

The bag!

Close up of the bag with some neato buttons that go perfect with it!

And! She also included some yummy extras! Some vegan chocolate chip cookies from the bakery she works at (which are delicious! I've already been snacking on them!), a packet of almond butter (which sounds really yummy), 2 different flavors of fruit leather things (also yummy) and a pack of gum!!

She's awesome! Thanks for the wonderful package i_am_138! Cheesy
