Happy friday the 13th!  hope it's not creepy lol.

I busily spun a ton at the beginning of the week, then found myself hurting irritated my carpal tunnel something fierce, so this will be the last big presentation for me for a while Sad  Only the last one was graced with a name, feel free to make suggestions Smiley

I have some names I came up with for them:

1. Appalachian Range
2. Autumn Harvest
3. Aurora Borealis
4. Summer Wheat
5. Ocean
6. River Walk
7. Spring Meadow
8. Playground
9. Tweezle Dee (reminds me of the tweed hats that the Scot's wear)

Okay, so I have lots of time before work, and I wait for new spinning to be posted! lol

Wow...they all look great! I love your 'attempt' at a masculine yarn...good colors. I think that yarns 1, 2 and 4 could also be considered masculine...well, I think unisex would be a better term, lol. I could see a guy looking great in any of those. Actually, I could see a nice hat or something for a guy out of yarn 5 too. I like a little color on my man, lol  Wink  Eh...either way, they all look awesome and I would consider that more than an 'attempt' at a masculine yarn Smiley

Eep!  It's friday already!  And look what I've done [not a lot, by the way]:

I call it Underwater Masquerade.

This week went by quickly.  I'm disappointed that I didn't get more things done.  Happy Friday everyone!  Great yarns so far.

Wow, I looooove the blue and green ones the best, but they are all so pretty!  Smiley  And the title of "Above the Fruited Plains" fits it perfectly, mullerslanefarm!

Ooo, gothchics, you almost gave me a heart attack. I glanced at that picture of your batts all smooshed together and I was like "WHOA! That's the most gorgeous corespun I've ever seen!!" I want to try to make a yarn that looks like that! Hehe, I love your first 2 yarns too.

Here's a couple of skeins I made for a "cable-along" on Ravelry.

I took two thick-and-thin supercoils and plied them together

This one is just two regular 2-plies wound back together. I'm weaving this one into an art piece, I may post pictures of the finished project if I get it done soon.

natashafatale - Love that red and pink valentine-y plyed super coil.  What a wonderful texture!

Gothchics - do you have a picture of "merino, alpaca and UV reactive fibers" in the dark, I'll bet it jams.  I like it even in the light.

I have a new offering...

I'm calling it Summer Sky Bamboo
192 yds, 100% Bamboo, single baby/sport weight spun with my drop spindle
