Oh my!

These are all so beautiful.

I mainly sew, but still, fiber friday is one of my favorite places on this board to stop in at.

So earlier this week I finally came to the realization that a drop spindle is not some special alternate attachment on a spinning wheel...d'oh!

I've always been fascinated with spinning and since joining Craftster and getting more into the knitting scene, actually trying it out myself has interested me more and more. I never thought I'd be able to though since spinning wheels are such an investment! I've been watching Fiber Friday for a few months now and always love seeing the stuff you guys make. :]

ANYWAY since my aforementioned revelation I really want to start spinning! I just have to decide if I'm ever going to have the time to start and then I'll order myself some supplies. I can't wait to start making my own yarn and sharing it with you all. Cheesy

I love all things shiny, glittery, and colorful.

I say yes to ATC trades!

I hang out in: Knitting, Crochet, Fiber Arts, and the Swap Board!

These are from the past month or so - I just never had a chance to take pictures until now! Smiley

Aw, thank you!  I have tried to dye pastels, but I always end up going back to the super-bright stuff. Wink

*lol* Me, too.  I can't tell you how many bright pink/orange/yellow rovings I've dyed up.  I have to practically force myself to do something different. Smiley
