Hey everyone,
I have been cooking like crazy lately and when I noticed the hubby trying to sneak expensive muesli bars into the shopping trolley I finally realized how much money we were wasting on these unhealthy sugar filled things.
Yeah they can taste good but at a cost!
So I decided to experiment with stuff in the pantry and here is what I came up with:

They are so yummy I have to control myself not to eat them all!
Was terribly easy, all I used was flour, coconut, oats, butter, dark choc chips (he has a sweet tooth so I had to add them!) and fresh honey from my mum's beehive.

Mmmm.......I think I have to have one for morning tea! Cheesy

Those look delicious! Did you just melt everything together and press them into a pan?

Thanks guys Cheesy
Yeah I just melted everything and pressed  into pan-was really surprised they tasted yummy!

I love that my mum has bees-they work their little butts off! Last time we were up there we got soooo much and dropped off a 3Litre bottle to some other friends!
Somehow all our visits seem to coincide with a raiding of the hive! Cheesy
