i finally took the plunge to start on my arms, and im so happy i did. i cant stop looking at my arm. i love it!

Nice work! I'm still too chicken to get a tattoo on my arm but hopefully in the next couple of years I'll work up the nerve to go for it.

it didnt hurt too much. but theres about 9 or so colors in it, and everytime i thought he was done with one he would add more and id get frusturated lol.. im definitely not complaining now, because the outcome is SO amazing. =]

Fish tattoos are some of my favorites--I think I just like the orange. That looks amazing, even unfinished.

I am a tad overexcited because I just came home from my tattoo artist... I had e-mailed him to see when we could arrange a session, and apparently I was lucky because he got my e-mail with another one cancelling an appointment for today... so he offered me the spot - otherwise it would have been somewhere around the end of june!!! Of course I said yes!
I sent him the design and he liked it immediately... I still have to take a proper picture because right now my back is still a bit red from the shading and doesn't look its best, so I'm waiting a little... in the end I went for the design in the middle



as I was not convinced about using any color. I am really really happy now... proper picture coming later tonight!

This is my first tattoo, it`s about 5 or 6 years old here (and I have sunburn !)
It`s at the top of my back in the centre just above my bra strap line. I drew it myself and I love it !

Here is my second tattoo, also on my back but lower down on the left hand side (I`m thinking of getting an opposite fairy on the other side.) It`s about 4 years old here.

I have to say, some of the tattoos in this thread are just magnificent, and there is such variety !!

I can`t wait to get a job so I can get my tattoo shopping list ! lol
