i finally took the plunge to start on my arms, and im so happy i did. i cant stop looking at my arm. i love it!

Nice work! I'm still too chicken to get a tattoo on my arm but hopefully in the next couple of years I'll work up the nerve to go for it.

Fish tattoos are some of my favorites--I think I just like the orange. Cheesy That looks amazing, even unfinished.

I am a tad overexcited because I just came home from my tattoo artist... I had e-mailed him to see when we could arrange a session, and apparently I was lucky because he got my e-mail with another one cancelling an appointment for today... so he offered me the spot - otherwise it would have been somewhere around the end of june!!! Of course I said yes!
I sent him the design and he liked it immediately... I still have to take a proper picture because right now my back is still a bit red from the shading and doesn't look its best, so I'm waiting a little... in the end I went for the design in the middle

as I was not convinced about using any color. I am really really happy now... proper picture coming later tonight!

This is my first tattoo, it`s about 5 or 6 years old here (and I have sunburn !)
It`s at the top of my back in the centre just above my bra strap line. I drew it myself and I love it !

Here is my second tattoo, also on my back but lower down on the left hand side (I`m thinking of getting an opposite fairy on the other side.) It`s about 4 years old here.

(apologies for the sucky photo quality !)

I have to say, some of the tattoos in this thread are just magnificent, and there is such variety !!

I can`t wait to get a job so I can get my tattoo shopping list ! lol

Opposite fairy on other side of back
Cherry Blossom on my foot

Wow there are so many beautiful tattoos on crafty ladies here Cheesy I spent ages looking through the whole thread!
I currently have just the one tatt, had it done at the end of March at Chioko in Camden (London) and they were very friendly and the artist was great, she redrew my overcomplicated design for me an it turned out even better than I hoped for, I'd recommend Chioko definitely!
Flower vine on my left hip

this was taken literally just after she'd finished!

this is it fully healed and it shows the placement a little better Smiley (in mirror image though!) only took about a week and a half to heal but I carried on applying the cream for a month or so afterwards, don't know if that had any effect or not.

Planning on getting a couple more eventually (stave of music on the back of my neck and an anatomical heart somewhere about my persons!) but money is the issue Sad
