How could I of missed this topic?!  I guess because its in the 'bath/beauty section' and, I never visit this section, however I seen a tattoo pic in the hottest new projects sections so of course I clicked it. 

Anyways, I have spent a long time looking at all 54 pages of this thread.  I gots to say some very pretty, cool, unique, beautiful tattoos here!  I love the big fairy wings one best probably, though I cant remember who posted them as it was some 20 or so pages back.   I was opting for dragon wings on my back (Im a huge mythological person)  Instead I went for whole dragon.  Ha ha.  I figure first tattoo, gotta go big.  It was an wedding anniversary gift from hubby actually.  We both got tattoos that year as wedding gifts to eachother.  That was 1 1/2 yrs ago.  Ive 5 tattoos now.  Got them all at the same place too, Tattoo Charlies.

I just got his one on Monday. In two weeks I'll go and get it colored in. I love it.

These aren't my only tattoos but they are my favorite. I really can't wait to get another one soon.

I just got this last saturday, I'm pretty happy.  It was my design idea but the artist drew it out, my drawing was really abstract.  The biggest bird in the middle is more stylized than I'd like and I might add another bigger leaf at the end that is disintegrating more.  That was my original plan but when I saw his drawing I wasn't sure if it would work or not.  Oh and the sun/moon/star I got about ten years ago on my 18th birthday, he just cleaned it up a bit.

alright here's my latest! i didn't draw this, but i got my best friend to and told him exactly what i wanted (based off a poster he made)... he is an AMAZING artist.



i sat for nearly 5 hours for an outline in august before i started going into shock:

my tattoo artist is my close friend casper, and the boy holding my best friend, dean, is the artist.





it needs a LOT of work...all the small flowers will be blue and green with white tips, and the purple in the big flower needs to be touched up a lot, and the black sketchy lines need to be added in...

Wow, all the recent additions are amazing! I hope that I'll have some money leftover from my tax refund for another tattoo (or two or three). I've had one particular design sitting around for ages and I'm just dying to get it done. Seeing all this new fantastic ink makes me want it even more!

I love your swallows!  They're in the "old school" sort of scheme, but still have an updated, clean, look to them!!!

Here are three of my tattoos; they are all on my lower left leg... they will eventually become a mish-mash of random ink. A homage to the things I love.



My pineapple, on the back on my leg, right below the bend of my knee. I love pineapples-- how they look, how they smell, and mostly, how they taste (especially upside-down on cakes). They always just make me happy.




My cupcake, on the inside of my leg. It's a stylized version of the cupcake on the cover of Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World. I love baking-- vegan baking, that is-- and have been doing it since I was a wee lass. It's my tribute to my domestic self. Plus, it's hard to find a cupcake you dont like.




And my latest-- my ball of yarn. It's right below my pineapple and kind of curls around my lower leg. I dont need to explain too much with this, especially to my fellow craftsters. Green is my favorite color and I would never dream about using anything else but my bamboo needles.

I also have a Radiohead minotaur on my right wrist and the Sigur Ros lyrics "Agaetis Byrun" across my left foot.
