probably he had a special design or someting on his skateboard? or a slogan?
i dont have much idea of skateboarding, but there are pretty awesome complicated jumps, with turns and such. proabably your son had one he was particularry proud of or so. i just thought, probably you could just draw a line following such a jump, or a row of jumps,... like if you look at the skateboard moving follow e.g. one wheel of it, making a 2d drawing of a 3d movement. it would make a line with slopes and curves etc. i dont know if that makes sense.

I have yet to get inked, but I looked up skateboard related tattoos and I found that.

That's such a cute tattoo! I want to get a craft related one as well, maybe knitting symbols as it's what I do most, but your tomato is SO rad!

Very recently due to health complications I lost my daughter while I was at 23 weeks pregnant with her.  In the short time she was around (she was alive 3 weeks on life support) she made such a huge impact on us.  I want to get a tattoo of her hand or foot print as a memorial of her.  I'll post pictures when it's done...

OMG what freakin awesome tattos you all have!!! Melissafairy mine are along the same lines as yours.  I was always pretending to be a fairy when I was little and I've always wanted wings.

GBKittyKat - friends of mine had a similar loss (lost thier daughter shortly after birth) and the dad got a tattoo of her hand print with her name and birthdate and a design around it.  It's really neat looking and a great way for her memory to still be a part of their family.  They're about to have a son and I think it's cool that he'll be able to look at his daddy's arm and know that he has a sister, even if she's not around.

I'm sorry for your pain, I can't imagine losing a child.  I would love to see your ink though when you get it done!
