Okay, I can't wait 'til it heals, I'll post pics anyway (the drop shadow is still a bit red, but I just can't wait to post pics)  --

From "She's Crafty" by the Beastie Boys:
"She's crafty - she gets around
She's crafty - she's always down
She's crafty - she's got a gripe
She's crafty - and she's just my type
She's crafty"

Yes, indeed.  From the same song: "The girl is crafty like ice is cold!"

And my feet together (pencil & needle not really to scale with each other.  Oh well!)
(when the right foot was fresher: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=12114.msg1383034#msg1383034)

If anyone is in the pacific northwest (more specifically, Seattle), Erika @ Slave to the Needle (Ballard) is AMAZING. I'm so excited to go back to her for more!

Ooooo...Red Paint...I see why you couldn't wait to show off those babies! Very nice indeed!  Grin  I've been wanting to make some things with those quotes too. If you're in a bad mood, you won't be for long while listening to that song! Roll Eyes

Erika is a great artist! Wink

Red Paint- those are amazing!  I am currently debating on what I want to do for my forth tattoo.  I have three, but one was awful, so I had it covered.  So you can only really see two of my three tattoos, but I still say I have three... anyway, I hadn't thought of doing something like this, but now I am having all kinds of great thoughts!!!

Thanks!

I went barefoot for 2 days after the tattoo and was pleasantly surprised that socks & shoes for going back to work on day 3 weren't irritating at all (I do have comfy shoes, though). It helps that I didn't have a large solid area of ink. There's a bit of rubbing during the healing stage with flip-flops for the location I got, but mine are closer to the toes than a lot of foot tattoos.

Unfortunately, some of my flip-flops completely cover the pencil and needle, but that just means I've gotta buy new shoes to show 'em off.  Smiley   (No problem whatsoever with wearing shoes/flip-flops after 2-3 wks of healing)

This is on my inner forearm.  It's about 2 inches across and about 2 1/2 years old.   I really like it because it's so simple and I love stars.    I hope to get more someday... when I have more money.  This one cost me way more than I think it should have, but I think it's just because of the actual shop's reputation.  I think it looks nice, so if I go back there, I'll just have to fork over the dough.  In the picture, the space in between the outside and inside star is actually blank.  The picture makes it looks a little shaded.  And it really is completely even!  It's hard to take a picture of your own arm!  Grin
