Yeah, the tattooist drew it up from this photo:

I was a bit 'meh' at first as I'd drawn up a design I wanted myself but he'd said it was too small, but said leave him to draw something up and when I went in to look at what he'd done I was amazed. Got in done right there and then and I love it  Grin

Lower left of my belly, round towards the side, and about 3" tall
This shows the positioning better (my belly button is under the tape incase you're confused, a few people have been in the past!)

My son was wounded in Iraq on April 18th... his buddy that was with him was also his room mate and was killed int he same accident.....an IED hit their humvee.. His buddy's nickname was Captain America so Josh got this tattoo as a memorial tattoo... Lance's name is across the bottom and on one side it says KIA and the other April 18th 2008.. It took around 7 hours to do but it looks great...

tell him it's a beautiful tattoo....I am sooo soo sorry for his loss and the families.  Tell him to take care and to be well and know my prayers are with him.  What a wonderful tribute to his friend..maybe can give him a bit of closure.  Meredith

Great ink! I have an appointment in five hours to go see my artist. I can't wait to see what she drew up!

My first Smiley. This is the best picture I have at the moment, I just got it yesterday. It's a bit below the middle of my back and is about the size of my hand. I love it!! There are a few tiny things I would change but that's because I'm a perfectionist but I'll get over it haha.
