This is my friend Patti's tattoo.  I'm posting it because I picked out the monkey and the letters are in my handwritting.  It is a tattoo in honor of her son (her little monkey) and it is in my handwritting because I am her sister from another mother

Sorry about the shirt straps in the way but most of it can be seen through them=)  I hope mine fits in well with the rest of the thread.  I love all of the work I have seen you guys post!  I cannot wait to get mine added to again.  I have plans for some victorianesque clock faces to go in probably on my shoulders.

The symbol on the left is a norse symbol that represents how a problem is always linked to it's solution, and those two can never be broken apart.  The filigree was hand drawn by the artist.  And of course the poor washed out fairy is a on the right side is a much older tattoo that wasn't done very well but I still love her.  She just needs some new color=)

Just wondering if anyone knew of any good tattoo artists in the Birmingham area, UK?
Im doing some research to find someone trusted and respected so my first tat turns out good

this is my first tattoo-it's next to my left hip bone. it's really tiny but it means a lot to me. the j stands for my grandma who died last year from cancer. i think some day i'm going to add a small sparrow above it.

I've been looking thru this thread for a while and finally decided to post my ink!  I got the kanji in August and the other one a month later.  You can kind of see my underwear imprint around my hips, so you can see how low on my back they are.  They're each about 8 inches tall.  They were done by a dear friend of mine here in town.



The kanji is 'usagi' or rabbit.  Usagi has been my online nickname for so long that it's become a part of me.  The cherry blossoms are from a conversation i had with a friend once where he was telling us what flowers best represented each of us.  He said something to the effect of "you're a sakura blossom because they're poisonous when they're immature".  I have a very bizarre sense of humor, and can come up with some very random, silly things at the drop of a hat.

The bunny is an usyagi from the manga Wish.  In the comic, they are God's messengers and deliver his words with flowers.  Once you receive the flower, the message appears in your head.  My grandmother passed away in 2001, and I wanted something to symbolize her.  It's carrying a violet, because Gramma's middle name was Viola, and my daughter's is Violet after her.  So it represents two very important women in my life.

The kanji has a wave of water behind it, and the usyagi has a little wind flowing.  I'm planning on doing something in the space between them that has to do with earth, but I haven't decided what yet.  I also have plans for several others, including a skull bunny on my stomach when I reach my weight loss goal of 20 pounds (only 11 to go!)

Crappy picture of my third one.  It's a blacklight tattoo, so it has no color in normal light.  It glows under blacklight.  It's red in the picture because it's two or three days after I got it.

I love your second tat.  and I love black light tattoos, they are so neat.  Is that a Toki Doki hoodie I spy?
