My 84-year old grandmother wanted a ladybug tattoo for mother's day this year... so 25 members of my family rented out a tattoo parlor for all of mother's day, and we all got one!!

My grandmother & her daughters all got a ladybug on their foot- and the granddaughters (including me!) got our own design, but incorporated ladybugs into it.
My uncles all got whatever they wanted, but also incorporated ladybugs. The grandsons just got whatever they wanted.

It was AWESOME family bonding!!!

wow.! What an awesome Idea...!!!

It would be nice to see what everyone got... Even just as a collage of small photos...

You're grandmother is awesome.

Wow that sounds like the best mother's day ever! I wish my family was as accepting of tattoos, guess I'll have to keep forcing acceptance! Happy mother's day to your wicked grandma!

Specifically, MADness323’s wings, polkadotdog’s dragon, sewsew-a-gogo’s geisha, Lola Caracola’s sleeve, nerdysocks’s irises, onasunnysunday’s bats, theEEKinGEEK’s flowers, carolyn_rawr’s bird and heart, and safetyscissors’s WA state {go Washington!}

Thanks loserchick88!  That made my morning to read that...

The guy who did my dragon, Jeff Ward, did it while he was at Top Notch Tattoo in Elgin, IL.

He's now at High Voltage, which is Kat Von D's shop on LA Ink!  I feel sort of famous by association....I can say "I knew him when...."  Smiley  I wish I had my tattoo autographed Tongue

You probably paid a lot less when you got it than you would if you went to him now, what with all that celebrity. Cheesy

Hey all!

Just got my second one!

Inspired by the symbolism that bees have and Tori Amos' The Beekeeper album.
