Thank you all for taking the time to write such encouraging words!  My nostrils are overwhelmed!

tinaw & Persephone Hazard & Belladune:  It's reassuring to hear that a less-sensitive nose is more common than I thought!  Persephone Hazard: I hope your bf reunites with your cooking soon. Maybe he can hold his nose while he eats, wouldn't that be flattering? Wink

lelila: Any future crochet noses should be categorized by the term you coined: "nosiguri"!

Birdythemighty & mixi: I'll read more crochet books in public from now on!  mixi: that documentary of a suicidal smell-less man sounds like a cautionary tale!  *deep inhale*

ChrisCrossCrafts: At the bakery and in the trash alley, I was met with looks of suspicion followed by grudging acceptance, which are common reactions here in Vancouver. Wink

Le Mieux & nualapegasus: Your twin nose puns are nosetorious!

dinerene & spicytaco: Yes, you can take the boy out of the dumpster, but you can't take the dumpster diver out of the boy Wink  spicytaco: That nose warmer and shepherd's pie recipe both sound like heaven!

you sir, are hilarious.  and talented.  your ability to freehand crochet things impresses me.  and your humor is great.  and it must be an added bonus that you get all these ladies going gaga over you!

Hurray for smelling!  This nose is quite awesome!  It reminds me of the mini game in Wario Smooth Moves where you fly a plane that is a nose.  Super rad!

This was so great and the photos were fantastic. A little Dali, a little Chaplin and a little mystery film nuior. I love the back story as well. I'm not sure wether I should congratulate you or feel sorry for your regained sense of smell. I guess you could keep a scented hanky for the really bad times (sitting on a crowded bus by someone who has IBS). Just remember to stop and smell the roses.  Wink
