congrats on being able to smell again!

This little nose is hilarious.

And don't worry, eventually you will come to love dumpstering again. I mean, how can you not?  Cheesy

Having a lessend sense of smell has a name???  who knew.  I just tell people I can't smell well. (once we were in a public washroom and my friend asked "man that was aweful!  someone cut the cheese!"  and I couldn't smell it!)  Now I have a fancy term for it LOL  It is a gorgeous nose that you crocheted.   Congrats on the new sense of smell, and sorry to hear your Shepards pie recipe is nolonger great. I don't have a good recipe.  I just wing it Wink

Holy wow I love it so much. Will you crochet me some glasses please. Mine don't work so well anymore. I'm afraid one day I'll be blind.

It also kinda reminds me of the nose warmer my mum once knit me.....except that had a green tassel hanging from the end........

Anyway...to make the best shepherds pie you need to use some left over roast beef and gravy. Grind the roast beef up in a food processor. (I suppose you could chop it.....or grate it......) Mix in the left over gravy, and if you need a bit more moisture use some beef stock. You can add some sauteed onion, carrots, celery, corn, peas (ick!) if you like. Then a layer of ketchup. (yes...I said it....ketchup) Then throw some yummy mashed potatoes on top. May I recommend throwing a bay leaf in whenever you're boiling potatoes. It adds just a hint of flavor.  Anyway.....bake it till it's warm through out and you have some wicked shepherd's pie.

As for dumpster diving....after about three minutes you won't notice the smell anymore.

Wow. I saw the picture and thought, "is that a nose? No, surely not..." and it was indeed a nose! That's hilarious!
