My partner seems to have disappeared so I'm going to go ahead and post what photos I have of my package.
My camera broke shortly before sending so I don't have photos of everything.

Laciebug's favorite color is fuchsia so I kind of themed it around that. I had a silk jacket that was destined for Goodwill that just happened to be totally her style so I sent that.

This is the only  picture I have of me wearing it back in 2003. It's 100% silk and has a batik lotus blossom on the back. Very flowy and drapey.

Next I made her a cotton jersey kimono top that I embellished with leather flowers I dyed and cut myself.

It's a bit big on me but I'm sure it fits her nicely.

Lastly, I made her a cloche-style hat using cream silk left over from this project (sorry no picture)

it turned out smaller than I had hoped but it was my first time doing a hat of that type.

I also included some fun jewelry that caught my eyes as something she might like.

That kimono top is awesome!! It is really creative and looks very well made. Good work! I hope we eventually get to see the cloche hat.. I'd lovee to figure out how to make those.

Hey, there! oneredboot told me that elmpixie has received about a week ago, so here's a few pictures I took prior to sending. Of course, we'd love to see it on her as well. Wink

Boxy top with huge collar detail and a simple D-ring belt.

Knit tunic with a belt from a fun kit and rolled hem scarf.

wow, cheebz and iggy.boy, what fabulous packages!!!!  i *love* the flowers on the kimono top and the frilly-edged scarf!!

in a side note, as organizer, i'd like to point out that it's really unusual to have so many people failing to thank their partners for their packages or even notify them that they received!  i think that's especially sad since these packages are all made so specifically for each person.

if you haven't notified me that you received your package, posted photos, or thanked your partner, PLEASE take time to do so.

Welp, my partner seems to be MIA, but she received in early Feb. so I hope she posts some pictures soon! I didn't get very good shots of details and stuff, and I didn't get to photograph the neck wrap that I made. So here's a bit for now:
1. A tee shirt with wings stenciled on the back, spray painted over lace. there was a big lace bow on the front:

2. An oversized chain necklace--made from felt:

3. A vinyl record necklace:

4. A black neck cuff made from sweatshirt fleece--no pictures Sad

Love, Elizabeth

These are all some really amazing packages.  I am almost glad I wasn't able to join, because I don't think what I could do would even compare.

Too bad about MIA partners, but I am definitely appreciating all the hard work from afar.
