I haven't posted anything since last year and when I made this magazine purse, I figured it was ok enough to post here on the awe-inspiring craftster. I've seen many of these wrapper purses around on the net, on craftster, once or twice in real life, and since I have a monumental collection of magazine stacks and needed something to do with them. Without further ado:

The zipper was the bane of my existence...I still hate zippers. Any comments/criticism/help for the next one? Wink

Wow. Now that I've had a chance to look at it better, you seem to have 'woven' the magazines as though they were ribbons! That's amazing! Smiley Pretty cool! One could make many interesting things using the same design. Smiley Bravo! Smiley I never realized magazines could be used this way. Smiley

cute Smiley reminds me of gum chains i used to make when i was little. good use of materials! i like it, but it is kind of hard to tell it is a bag from angles other than the top- maybe add a little strap or make it a wristlet?
